Phase 1 – Initial Meeting

• Discuss your project (wants, needs, goals, budget)
• Review the design build process

Phase 2 – Feasibility Study

• Measure existing house
• Check zoning restrictions
• Review land plats/surveys
• Determine if there are building constraints

Phase 3 – Preliminary Design and Pricing

• Develop preliminary floor plans/elevations
• Product selections such as flooring, appliances, etc.
• Comprehensive project budget , within 15-20% of final contract price
• Refine design or product selections if necessary to meet budget needs

Phase 4 – Final Design and Pricing

• Approval of final design and construction plans
• Comprehensive meeting with homeowner and all trade contractors
• Final pricing presented
• Prepare a comprehensive construction contract with start and completion dates

Phase 5 – Construction

• All building permits obtained by Cambridge DesignBuild
• Site preparation
• Weekly meetings with client and Scott Rogers (Owner of Cambridge DesignBuild)
• Coordination of subs/county inspections
• Payments made per contract draw schedule
• Final "punch out" list at completion of project
• Warranty period begins
